邀请函的正文是指商务礼仪活动主办方正式告知被邀请方举办礼仪活动的缘由、目的、事项及要求，写明礼仪活动的日程安排、时间、地点，并对被邀请方发出得体、诚挚的邀请。

正文结尾一般要写常用的邀请惯用语。如“敬请光临”、“欢迎光临”。

例文中，正文分为三个自然段。其中第二段写明了“2005年终客户答谢会”举办的缘由、时间、地点、活动安排”。（看原文）

邀请信是邀请亲朋好友或知名人士、专家等参加某项活 动时所发的约请性书信。在国际交往以及日常的各种社交活 动中，这类书信使用广泛。

邀请信分为两种：一种是正规的格式(formal correspondence)，也叫做请柬;一种是非正规格式(informal correspondence)，就是一般的邀请信。

请柬通常有固定的格式，应注意文字排列精心设计，一般以一个或两个完整的意群为一行。一般用第三人称形式写作。

请帖有三种格式：

1.X invites you to a reception(party, etc.)at(place)on(date)at

(time).2.You are warmly(cordially)invited to attend a reception

(party, etc.)at(place)on(date)at(time).3.X requests the pleasure of your company(the company of
