高一英语书面表达要求学生能用文字及图表提 供信息并进行简单的描述,能描述人物或事件,并进行简单的评论和填写有关个人情况的表格等。在平时的教学实践中,笔者主要采取了以下几个方面的策略进行训练。

一、加强基本功训练

扎实的基本功是写好英语作文的 先决条件。从 高一开始就应该抓紧基本功的训练。基本功训练包括词汇(注意单词拼写及易混词)、语法以及标点使用。

首先,过好词汇关。有的教师可能认为,现在考查单词的题很少,词汇教学并不重要。但是,这些教师 可能忘了词汇是语言最基本的要素之一,是文章的“建筑材料”。没有较大的词汇量,阅读从何谈起?写作从何谈起?因此,平时的教学中不仅不可小看单词 的拼写,还应加强对易混词的训练与识别,如同义词、近义词、习语的固定搭配、词语的惯用法等。

三、多背诵佳句、范文

四、缩写课文

只有学生充满热情地写,才能达到提高写作水平的最终效果。缩写是训练学生写作的一个简单易行的手段。因为学生有现成的文章,所以缩写课文时学生只需要动脑子,抓住重要情节、重点句子,再用关联词把来龙去脉整理清楚即可,学生不会产生畏惧心理。缩写课文比独立写文章容易得多,所以学生热情很高,而且缩写课文对锻炼学生组句谋篇很有效。

五、看图写话

英语书面表达在历年的高考英语全国卷中都占据着十分重要的位置,分值一直保持在25分不变。英语书面表达质量的高低,直接影响到学生的整体英语成绩。在考试中,很多学生经常做到这部分便无从下笔,即便寥寥数语也是词不达意,汉式英语现象相当严重。要完成英语书面表达对我们农村高中的很多学生来说是相当吃力的,毕竟它是对学生语言结构、语音掌握情况和文章谋篇布局能力的综合考查。要完成英语书面表达,学生必须有一定的词汇量、扎实的语法知识和较严密的逻辑思维能力及谋篇布局能力。所以对学生书面表达的训练宜早不宜迟,应从高一起始年级开始就重视对学生的训练,因为“写”既是属于英语知识运用的综合能力,也是课程标准中对语言技能的一项要求。

目前, 大多数学生对书面表达的试题感到束手无策, 不知如何下笔。这是因为书面表达不仅考查学生应用所学词汇和语法知识遣词造句、灵活运用英语表达思想的能力, 还较好地考查了学生观察、联想、理解及思维的能力。要提高书面表达的能力, 应该先从写句子开始, 然后组句成段, 最后组段成文。解决句子层面上的正确意思的表达是提高书面表达能力的基础。因此, 平时应多做些造句和连词成句的练习, 加强写作训练, 逐渐做到用英语思维写作, 还要扩大课外阅读面, 积累一定数量的佳句, 不断增强英语语感, 提高写作水平。

教师要提高对英语写作的认识。事实上, 有很多英语教师从一开始就忽略了写作这一教学任务。他们往往是在初三复习阶段, 由于应对考试才不得不做一些写作训练, 而且往往是就模拟题而简单地解一些写作要求、步骤、注意事项等。其实, 这对学生提高写作成绩而言, 实在是“杯水车薪”, 无法解决“写作能力”在应试时难以发挥的问题。

学生在写作中出现的各种障碍和问题也是值得我们教师总结的。只有弄清楚历年来学生在英语写作中不足之处主要体现在哪些方面, 我们才能对症下药。

通过总结和研究, 我发现在写作中, 影响学生成绩的因素有四个方面。

一、在词汇量方面显得欠缺

语言最基本的要素是词汇, 要表达自己的思想必须有足够的词汇量。词汇不足是学生写作方面的问题之一。

二、在英语语法方面显得呆板而单薄

英语语法知识的正确使用是一篇作文的基本要求, 否则写出的作文就会难成一体。而语法知识如何在书面表达中的准确运用恰是大部分学生的主要问题。尤其是各种时态的正确使用、动词的各种形式的变化, 在学生的作文中的正确率较低。

三、母语对英语表达的影响

母语的根深蒂固对中学生学习英语的影响很大, 他们总习惯于用汉语的模式去思维英语。特别是写作时, 他们写出的英语句子其顺序、结构、语法都明显带有汉语的痕迹。

四、缺乏连贯性和条理性

在写作时, 不擅长运用连词、连接词、过渡词是学生作文的一大不足。虽然每一个单句是正确的, 但读出来感觉缺乏连贯性。另外, 在文章的布局、中心内容的突出等方面缺乏一定的条理性。

从教学实践中, 我深深感到, 尽管平时已注意对学生进行一定的写作训练, 但学生在做书面表达题时却不一定能得到理想分数。因此, 平时必须强化对学生的书面表达能力的训练。

总之, 书面表达的训练是一个漫长的过程, 也是一项艰巨的劳动。这不仅需要老师要有计划, 更要有耐心。同时, 学生的自我要求、自我努力尤为重要。他们在老师的指导下, 持之以恒, 不断积累, 在中考作文时就会得心应手, 取得好成绩便是“水到渠成”、“顺理成章”的事了。

英语书面表达浅议 篇8

首先,一篇好的书面表达必须是各种句式摇曳多姿、异彩纷呈的集合体

短短的120个字中,高中课程所学到的各种句式和语法,诸如定语从句、非谓语动词、名词性从句、倒装句、强调句等,应悉数得以恰当和适时呈现。因为这五者乃是高中英语句式和语法的重点和难点。一篇短文中能把这些基本无误地展现出来,说明高中的知识已掌握无遗,即使出现其它一些错误,也是可以得到高分的。如要表达“由于残疾,她不得不以乞讨为生”,可用“Being disabled, she has to make a living by begging”。Being disabled属于现在分词作原因状语的用法。要表达“她绝不会同意你所说的”,可用“In no way will she agree with what you said”,将 in no way 置于句首起强调作用进而引起倒装,这会给人一种耳目一新的感觉。又比如要表达“那只严重受伤的猫突然朝我袭来,这一点我先前根本没有想到”,可用“That badly injured cat attacted me suddenly, which I didn’t expect at all ”,用过去分词badly injured作定语修饰cat,用which引导一个非限制性定语从句,做到既有句式变化,又能言简意赅。如果再加上一些高级词汇,那简直处处是闪光点。

高考改卷的原则是以闪光点给分,而不一概以错误扣分的。可见,在平时训练中,引导学生培养良好的英语语感从而在有限的篇幅尽展这五项语法、句式和有意识地使用高级词汇是何等重要!

其二,要注重层次,恰当分段

如果是夹叙夹议类文章,基本可分为两段,前段叙事,后段议论;若是纯议论性文章,可分三段,以总分总形式来写;如果是表格类的,可分为两段,第一段介绍表格,总结规律,第二段则根据表格展开谈应注意的问题。如此一来,就能做到层次清楚、条分缕析。我们虽摒弃八股文,但必要的层次感和段落意识能使我们在最短时间内把握文章脉络,不至于边写边迷失了方向。

其三,要力避低级错误

像I’m love my school; She will waiting for you at the school gate ; Although I’m not agree with you, but I don’t think little of you 等等。一旦文章低级错误过多,即使其他方面做得再好,也不可能得高分。诸如此类的低级错误需要在平时的训练中予以杜绝。

此外,还有一点至关重要,那就是卷面。须知,阅卷一天,每位老师平均要改900份卷子,平均26秒一份。一篇卷面脏乱、涂改过多的文章,即使句式多么多姿,词汇多么漂亮,语言多么流畅,层次多么清晰,也不可能得多高的分。爱美之心人皆有之,那些满分作文,无一不是卷面和内容最美的结合体。在平时的训练中,对卷面必须要严格要求,绝不能随意涂改,并且要求英语的书写做到规范、美观。

纸上得来终觉浅,绝知此事要躬行。一切都要在实践中得以提高。多读背、多揣摩、多练习、高要求,方能跃然精进、卓尔不凡。
